Random.....I'm not that random. I guess I'm normal. However, I was tagged by my sister-in-law for this radomness thingy. So I must come up with some random things about me!
1#: I pace when talking on the phone. Strange I know. But none the less I do. Sarah says I could win a marathon if they would let me have a phone and a friend on the other end! This would be true if they gave out prizes for distance not speed!
2#: When ever I see Sarah, and I've got nothing to say. I just blurt out of no where: "hello, would you like to polka?"! I have no idea why, I got the quote from veggie tails. (I wonder if Samuel has something to do with it???)
3#: I can not go anywhere without my purse. My purse is the one thing I will have with me at all times. 'Why' you might ask? Because my purse is no ordenairy purse. It is in fact a "Mary Poppins carpet bag"! It holds my whole room. So I never forget anything! :) Ok, I'm done feeding you a bunch of balony. Although it was rather fun seeing your eyes get big with amazement!!! lol!
4#: When I sleep I have to have noise. I have slept with a fan for most of my life. And they really aren't quiet things. So, I'm used to hearing nosie. And now it's gotten to where I have a hard time sleeping with out it!
5#: I never have my hair done the same way the whole day. I am always changing the style. Force of habit I guess.
6#: (and final) I walk on my toes! No I'm not training to be a ballerina. I have rolled-in arches. but when I was little no one knew. And because of that my only way to compensate for it was to not to walk on my heels. And to this day I still do it! But it has helped inprove my balance.
And there you have it...6# random things about me. Now I've done my duty, time to move on to more interesting things.

Randomness......
Small Town!
If you ever think you ''have'' or ''are'' living in a small town, believe me when I say "your not"!!!! Because I'm going to name off some 'true' small town facts. Which I doubt you have ever experienced!
1#: You know you live in a small town, when on your way to Wal*Mart you happen to see about 3 motorized weelchairs going along side the road on their way to the grocery store to have breakfast. Which is also the local "little old men" hangout! (and yes Heidi they do all look like turtles) At least all the little old men who aren't in the nursing home.
2#: If you happen to go to the 'big church' in your small town, you will find that everyone knows you (whether you know them or not). And if you also happen to sing in the chior. You might have people come up to you in the grocery store, and tell you that they liked your singing. Never mind the fact you have NEVER seen this person in your life!
3#: When going to First Baptist, which is an OLD church. Everyone has assigned seating. But in order to get your own seat you must be there for at least 1 year. Because by then you have learned which seat belongs to whom (seeing as how it has not been written down, as of yet). But sometimes it can be easier. The person who's seat that you're in, may stare you down until you move! (it has happened before) So when someone is standing over you and glaring straight at you, it would be best if you move down!
4#: After church is over, DO NOT go to Wal*mart or Brookshire Brothers. For half of the church will be in one and the other half will be in the other! And if you ever wish to get home before you must return at 4:30 for choir practice, go straight home and don't stop until you get there. Because if you do stop at either of the stores, you will undoutedly get caught and will wind up standing there until it is time to return for choir!
Still think you live in a small town?! I don't think so! No, it is I who lives in a small town.

End of the month party!
Ok, so yesterday I had my four real BFF's over for a sleepover. The best one we have had in years!
We started out watching a 3-D concert of Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers. (It was pretty good) Then ate dinner, and decided to play dress up (teenager style)! We all got dressed up in different outfits.
Lauren: my brown dress that Heidi gave me.
Sadie: my Turquoise shirt, pink jacket and my white skirt from Heidi.
Ashlyn: my bridesmaid dress.
Me: my salmon shirt from heidi with my jean skirt and turquoise belt.
Sarah: my pink shirt with my pink skirt.
And of course as any good G.N.O. (girls night out) goes. You can never go to bed at a reasonable hour. This night was no exception. :) We started out just sitting in my parents bed. Which is where we would be sleeping. (mom and dad were down stairs in dad's office sleeping) After mom told us they were going to bed and we needed to bring the volume down a bit. So we just sat around and talked for a bit. Until we got hungery and went out into the kichen to eat some cinnamon toast, Banana's, pickels and smores. It was during this time that Ashlyn got her new nickname: Shoplifter! She would keep trying to steal Sadie's toast while she was eating it. And then moved onto Ali's smores, and everyone's pickels. Anyways we stayd up until 3 in the morning taking pictures and just goofing off!
The next moring: being a teenager does not make you mature!
The next morning we woke up at about 8:30, 8:45. (somewhere around there) Anyways, WE woke up. Slowly, but become awake we did. But as all morning's should start out, we started the day with laying around telling storys in little kid voices. And make up a song about how hungry we were but didn't want to get up to get food. (don't worry we did get up to eat, but only after we sang our breakfest song)
After breafest we went down stairs only to play about 9 rounds of an abridged version of Marco Polo. There was no "Marco Poloing" just walking around in our workroom (which is a good size for doing it) tring to catch people. As you may know we have a lot of freezers in there. Which at first glance they look like space eaters. (From the people paying the game's perspctive) but if you think about it they are the perfect place to hide. The main favorites were the up right freezers standing right next to each other. And a set of two up rigth freezers also right next to each other. We had so much fun playing that game. (the pictures from this game will be in the next post) ;)

New computer, Woohoo!!!
I am now, and forever more going to write my blog post on MY computer!
Yes, Sarah and I were given a computer. Cool huh?! Yeah, well, it's really cool, and it will let us go on the internet!!! YEAH! Our old one (which is older then the hills) would only cheack E-mail. But now, now I can do it all!!!!
And take over the world with my one cup of everything cookies!!!! MMMWWAAA!!!! (inside joke) Anyhow, I very excited!!!

Paper scissors & and my eye lid
I think we all know that paper scissors don't just cut paper. And some of us also know they also cut hair! I know, I've cut my own hair with them.
I have been wondering for some time if they do in fact, also cut skin. Well, I can safey say that they do! Why was I testing this theory you might ask?! Well, I wasn't trying to. I was simply evening up my bangs (which I wear in front now). Because after a while they get some stray hairs that need to be cut back into shape! And because I couldn't find a pair of the proper scissors to use, I used paper scissors. (all the other ones seem to have gone missing, I must search for them later) Anyhow, I was in the middle of cutting my bangs when I felt something painful on my eye lid. As it turns out I had cut my eye lid, with paper scissors!!! It's a rather small cut, but still it's a cut!
And no I wasn't cuting my bangs with me eyes closed. I was cuting then in frount of a mirror! Like I always do.
Now that we all know what paper scissors can do. I no longer call them paper sissors. They cut everything a normal pair of scissors do. The only difference is, they have a blunt point!
So never believe what the lable says. You must read in between the lines!

Home again, home again.
Last Friday Sarah and I lift to spend the night with Daniel and Jenny.
We had a great time with them. We started out with Daniel because Jenny was still at work. He took us to the top of the tallest building in houstion! It was awesome!!!!
Later that night we left for the "Theatre under the stars" to see a show. It was a Disney show, where they prformed almost any old Disney song you could think of. And they didn't have any singers who had annoying voices!!!! (there always seem to be at least one of those) It was an Amazing show!
The next morning we went with Daniel and Janny to watch them play soccer. Soccer doesn't move near as fast as it does in the movies! Actually it sometimes moves quite slow! I told Daniel we would just sit on the side and cheer for the winning team! And because their team won, we didn't have to cheer for the other team! :)
All in all, we had a good time. I think we walked about a mile. Since you never can seem to park near where your going! Oh, well. It isn't always as I wish, but it is what it is!

More Music School.
I guess I should finish telling you about Music School.
Now, where was I? Oh! After lunch: Worship leader came first. We learned about how to direct a choir. Next songwriting. We learned how to write a song, and started a class song. Performance Training. We learned how to perform right. I think we had about 9 rules to remember. (some were more importent there others.)
1. Move any object between you and your audience
2. Be comfortable and make your aundience comfortable
3. Do not retreat
4. Do not call attention to your miestakes
5. You determine where your adience looks
6. Always be prepared to sing
7. Sing to people not at people
8. Do not let your audince control your energy
9. Don't apologize
Then we had dinner. And free time until the last group singing which was after dinner. And then last but not least, we had a concert every night. After that we were completely free. FINALLY!!!! And so was our schedule for the whole week.
But now I shall tell you about a funny thing that happened while there!
The girls bathroom: ok, there was a nursery right next to the girls bathroom. It had a door that lead into the girls bathroom and one that lead out to the hall by the worship area! Some of the girls decided to go get Michael and T.C. and bring them into the nuersery. After which they decided it was time to leave, so they told them they should take the short cut!! (through the girls bathroom) So they went along unsuspectingly! I was in the bathroom at the time when they came in. Hearing some nosie I rounded the corner to see what was going on. T.C.'s back was to me at first, so I didn't think anything of it, and was about to leave, when it hit me! "This is the girls bathroom!". I turned around and exchanged an opened moth expression with T.C. for about a minute!!! It was hilarious!!! We were all walking out laughing, except T.C. who kept saying that he was gonna need therapy after this. Michael went out the other way as soon as he realized that it was the girls bathroom (can't say I bleame him).

Music School, and all the stories that come with it!
I had an amazing time!!!!
And so many stories to tell. But I don't think I'll put them all in one post! It would be too long for you to read and to long for me to write!
So I shall tell you what happened in parts.
The First night:
We didn't do much, except explore the building and make use of the showers! After which we all went to bed. At about 3 in the morning. We were in our room by 1:00 but didn't go to sleep until 3. (What can I say, we had a lot to talk about!)
One nice thing about our room was that because it was a class room. (a Spanish class room actually) There were computers there. Sadly we couldn't get on them because we didn't know the password but we did make use of the rolling chairs! Yes, we would play music and roll, spin, and dance on them. We also had a CD player in there as well. Thankfuly I had brought my cds. So we had good music to listen to.
The next morning:
We had to get up at 6:30 every morning just to eat breakfast (just our luck). Breakfast was at 7:00, which left us 30 minutes to get all ready! It is possible for a girl to get ready in that time! Hard to believe, I know, I know. But we did do it none the less.
After Breafast was chapel. But it was not for about 45 minutes, so seeing as how most of us were real tired. We decided to go into the worship room (which was quite large) and lay down. The floor was carpeted to it was comfortable, and it had a bit of a slant to it as well.
Chape and morning announcement were over in about 15 to 20 minutes. After which was theory. Sarah and I were in the advanced class. (Heath's Class) Heath was the best theory teacher I've ever had. He understood that we were still kids and needed things explained in simple terms. Theory lasted about an hour and a half.
Then came group singing. (Which is the same thing as choir practice) Sarah was singing Soprano and I was singing Alto. (because there was a shortage of Altos)
Lunch was next. We had some really good food there, I thought. Others might not have thought so. But I did. After we ate lunch we had about an 30 minutes to do whatever we wanted. Which usely meant heading to our rooms to just lay around.
I shall begain after lunch in the next post!

July
It is the begening of the next month! July to be exact. I have been informed of the fact that I have not posted anything in quite some time! I cannot deny this claim, however I do have some excuses! (One thing I am good at) ;) lol! I was away at Music School until last friday. After which I have been really tired.
I will post more info on Music School later. But for now I am just posting so people don't think I'm dead or something!
But now back to *pauses for effect* July. It is rather cloudy for being july 3rd. (at least I think it is) tomorrow is the 4th of july! *says sarcasticaly* Whoopdedoo! As you can tell I'm not a big fan of the 4th of July. Mainly because they only have about 4 or 5 songs for this holiday. All of which are BOREING!!!!!! And I hate them! In fact I hate them so much that when I get older, I'm gonna go to England for 4th of July! 'Cuz they don't celabrate it there!!!! YEAH!! Anyways I've done my duty. I posted! :) So you can't say I'm just lazy. 'cuz I'm not, I just like to do things when I want, not when other people think I should. Ok, that's really off topic! Maybe I need to go take another nap. No, already done that today, twice! Well, whatever may be wrong with me, I may never know. But there is one thing I do know

Sunbrun and Music School!
Hey I'm back!
Ok, I got back yesterday, but today I'm back to bloging!
I had a great time with my friends. We almost had a big disappointment with Camp Rock. It rained, and because at the friend's house that we were watching it at had dish not cable. The rain made the satellite lose the signal! ARG!!!!! So the first showing we missed about half! But thankfully they showed it twice that night!!! So we did get to see it!
We all absolutely loved it! Such a great movie! Nick and Kevin were the funniest things ever!!!! HAHA!!! (See just thinking about it makes me laugh!)
We also went swiming! It was such great fun. I did get a pretty bad sunburn from it. But it was well worth it! We went out on the pond in a paddle boat! Couldn't quite get the hang of the whole stearing thing....but we did get back to shore. With the help of Sarah and I getting of the boat and gide-smwiming (meaning we were swimging while holding on to the boat and giding it)!

Now onto other news: Music School.As you might know some of our friends are having a 5 day music school! (kinda like Stamps Baxter. If you know what that is.) But anyhoo, we weren't going to go 'cause it's kinda expensive. But yesterday they called and asked if we would trade them chickens and eggs for Sarah and I to go to the music school!
So now were going to it!!! YEAH!!! I just got done packing, I think I have everything! *Say to self* Is there anything left?! LOL! No, I packed light. At least light for me! And the coolest part is I'm gonna get to spend 4 days with two of my BFF's!!!! I'm so exited!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, gotta go and finsh up with dishes! Mother's orders!

Japheth Oh, my!
Now to enlighten you other poor unfortunate souls who don't have a clue what's going on.
I am not losing my mind. I did talk to Japheth when no one was around. But it was only because I was practicing for when next Japheth talks to Sarah. (Which of course she says she hates, But we all know she loves)
After all life without Japheth would be quite dull!
Ego and all. But to show you his humor I shall relate to you a coversation that he will have with Sarah!
Japheth: Come close, come close. Wants to tell you secrect. JAPHETH LIKES YOU NOT!!! Your not as cutes as Japheth, your not as sweet as Japheth, you don't look like Japheth, JAPHETH DOSEN'T LIKE YOU!!!!!!!! (calms down) Well, thats all!
When Sarah can't understand what Japheth is saying (bad lisp and all that) this is what he will answer!
Japheth: Why can't you understand me? Where did you learn how to speak? Grammar school?!
And yes he was being perfectly serious! Hard to believe? Not really when you know him. As almost everyone in my family does (some better than others).
But now I shall tell you of Japheth's family history:
Japheth is related to Rudolf the red nosed on his mother's side. And has two cousin's on his dad's side. One he hates with all his might! Kede is his name. They really don't look much a like, but because they are both reindeers we say they are cousin's! Kede has an adopted brother named Cuddles who is also Japheth's cousin. Japheth doesn't mind him. And let him be the ring bearer at his wedding.
Yes Japheth is married. To a half moose, half reindeer, named Vixen! They recently celebrated their 1st wedding aniversary. They don't have kids yet. We're having a little trouble locating an extra small reindeer.
Japheth also has a adopted sister named Rose. She's a bear, a very sweet one, with a not very sweet brother I'm afraid.
And so I hope this has helped you understand at least a little better about who Japheth is. He's a very interestingto character to play. And a complicated voice to do. But I'm not complaining. He's very useful in cheering the mood up a bit.
Well, I have nothing more to say about him. Keep reading my blog and perhaps I will post a conversation between Sarah, Japheth and I. Ooh, that'll be fun!

The Mental Shrug.
I'm pretty sure all of you know my brother Samuel. But just in case you don't. Here is a short overview of him: Samuel, He and I were the hardest ones to raise! And we both have a love of annoying Sarah! Only I have more opportunity to do so then him. Now there is much more to him then this, but this is all you need to know for this story! Now, Concerning Mental Shrugs. One night, about a year ago. Sam and Aimee were down here with their kids. And some time after dinner we were all sitting down at the table, just chatting. Well, all except Sarah who was reading (what else does she do?) a Star Wars book. No big surprise there. That was until Samuel got up. And as he passed by her chair he started reading over her shoulder. "What is a mental shrug?" Samuel asked. "Don't know!" was the only reply he recieved. "Why do you want to know?" asked Mother. "I was just trying to figure out if it was rasing of the eybrows, or flairing of the nostrils, or some combination of the two." replied Samuel. "Yeah, but it's Star Wars so it has to be something weird!" Sugested Daniel. "That's true. Maybe the trick is that they make the other guys shrug for them!" Concluded Samuel. "Ah, yes, that has to be it!" Agreed Daniel. "Yeah!" everyone else agreed. "Yeah, that's when they wave their hand and the other guy shrugs his shoulders." said Daniel. "That's the last time I let you read over my shoulder!" Sarah said while in midlaugh. And for the rest of the night, that was all we could talk about. That, and Samuel kept threatening to come up into our bed and read to us from Sarah's Star Wars book. (thankfully he did not!) And so, now you all know what a mental shrug is. Not what you expected huh? But that's the Crank family for you. Well until next time...

A people house is for people, NOT goats!

News: Dad trying to burn down our property!
Now...for news! Well, It all happened last Tuesday. When Dad decided it was high time he burned that big pile of sticks (and one or two trees). Now, this pile was about 6 feet high and about 10 feet long (about, I don't know for sure). Anyways as I was saying, he decided it was time for it to go. And so it went, and in a rather large blaze. Which also maneged to catch on the tree above it! Lucky, only the leaves were really burned. The fire wasn't hot enough to actually burn the tree it's self, but it did have Dad scared. Yes he had the hose in one hand and his cell phone in the other, ready to call 911! (thankfully he didn't have to) And so the fire died down and the pieces began to reduce to ashes (and dust to dust, go if you must). Lol! Sorry, I just had to add that! You might have guessed by now what our remarks were the next day when we saw the trees.
Sarah: Didn't though's trees have more leaves before?
Me: Yeah! And didn't they used to be Green?
Mom was just glad it hadn't been her who was burning. Because she knows, she would never live it down!!! We decided in the end, that fall had come early to those trees! lol!
And so there you have it. The story of how Dad tried to burn down our property! A word to the wise: Don't pile something that big that has to be burned under a tree! It might catch on fire! ;)

Ok, I'm new!
